Your safari begins with a morning drive from Arusha to the Serengeti, heading to the Ndutu region, the heart of the calving season. On arrival, embark on your first afternoon game drive across the open plains, spotting wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and lions. Return to your accommodation in Ndutu Kati Kati for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, you set out for a full-day exploration of the southern Serengeti, where calving activity is at its peak. Your guide takes you to areas with large herds of wildebeest and zebras, while keeping an eye out for lion prides, cheetahs, and hyenas stalking vulnerable newborn calves. Picnic lunch is served in the heart of the plains, giving you the chance to enjoy the Serengeti scenery up close. Return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

Another full day in the southern Serengeti allows for deeper exploration of migration hotspots. Early morning game drives often provide dramatic predator-prey interactions, while mid-morning and afternoon drives focus on tracking wildlife movement and spotting rare species. Your guide may take you to nearby watering holes or kopjes for excellent photography opportunities. Enjoy dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge, reflecting on the unforgettable wildlife encounters.

On the last day of your safari, we will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast, we will make an early descend at around 6:30 am into the crater floor.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. km with a depth of over 2,000 feet. The 5/6-hour game drive on the crater floor will show us a lot of animal action.

Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. Animals like the African elephant, buffalo, black rhino, hippo, hyena, cheetah, and lion are found in abundance. After the picnic lunch at the beautiful hippo pool, we will begin a steep ascent to the top exit of the crater.

This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4-hour drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha in the evening or transferred to the airport.
